EXPRESS ENTRY

Express Entry System-Express Entry System
Introduced in January 2015, the Express Entry system has become the cornerstone of Canada’s economic immigration strategy, managing the pool of candidates for three of its main economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) assigns scores to candidates, and those with the highest scores are invited to apply for permanent residency through draws by the Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
The system aims to simplify the immigration process, with the majority of applications processed in less than an year. Moreover, this system allows Canada to proactively manage its immigration intake and ensures a more responsive and adaptable approach to changing economic conditions and priorities.
Regular updates and improvements to the system¬¬¬ ¬-for instance- the addition of the Express Entry-linked Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). With the help of PNPs, it becomes easier for candidates to move to Canada because this helps IRCC to choose the candidates of those professions which are in demand
As Canada continues to position itself as a global destination for skilled workers, Express Entry remains a pivotal tool in attracting talent, fostering diversity, and contributing to the nation’s ongoing success story as a welcoming and economically vibrant country
